Final Assignment for the Graphic Design Course at ESPM – SP. The assignment was about the street farmer’s markets in the city of Sao Paulo.  The study was developed in partnership with Luisa Prat and was supervised by Daniel Trench. We did some research of São Paulo’s street farmer’s markets looking at them from the graphic design lens studying their functionality, structure but specially what and how  they communicate with the audience. After a year, we carried-out six experiments in which both customers and sellers were subjects of study. Those were a printed newspaper, an apron with daily routine of the market sellers, some strips with popular sayings people use every day, trays with the steps on how to clean the fish and bags with general information and curiosities about the markets as well as interviews with the market sellers.

The project was awarded the Emilie Chamie prize for best experimental project of the year and our newspaper was selected to compose the catalogue of the 12th Bienal of Graphic Design.
